STP Contractor in the Philippines

STP contractor in the Philippines

We design and build sewage treatment plants, and we operate them afterwards. Most of the plants we are called to fix were built correctly and designed wrongly — which is why we treat the design as the job, and the construction as the easy part.

What A Contractor Should Carry

The work we take responsibility for

  • Establishing your discharge standard. We determine the receiving water and its DENR classification, state it in the quotation, and file for written confirmation where it is needed — at our cost. It is engineering and regulatory work, so it is ours, not yours.
  • Design. Process selection, tank schedule with real dimensions, sludge handling, and the arithmetic behind each. Our design and build service is here.
  • Fabrication and construction. Through our Cebu-based fabrication network, or supervising your contractor — see the three routes below.
  • Commissioning. Biological start-up, operator orientation, accredited third-party effluent testing so you have documentation for your permit.
  • Operation afterwards. Maintenance, consumables and troubleshooting from the team that built it.

Construction

Three ways to build it

We build it

Design and construction under one contract, one accountable party, one warranty.

You build it

We design and supply the treatment system; your team handles the civil works to our drawings.

Your contractor builds it, we supervise

Often the sensible route inside an operating building, because your contractor already knows the site. We supervise their work for a stated fee.

How We Work

Design is where the money is won or lost

Implementation is straightforward. Design is not. If the design is wrong you can spend millions building the plant and millions again fixing it, because a few details were missed at the start. We have seen that happen more than once, on plants we were called in to rescue.

So we design to your end goal rather than to a catalogue. If you only need compliance, we build for compliance and nothing more. If you intend to reuse the water, we treat to the level that reuse actually needs — gardening, general washing, cooling tower, toilet flushing are four different standards and four different prices. We say which one a design buys, so nobody discovers later that the reuse they imagined was never in scope.

The risks and assumptions behind a design are written into the quotation and the presentation. You have the right to see all of them before you sign, including the influent figures we had to assume because no sample existed.

Scope

What we build

New sewage treatment plants

Hotels, condominiums, hospitals, schools, commercial buildings and factories. Fibreglass modular or reinforced concrete.

Retrofits into existing tanks

Where existing septic or treatment tanks have usable volume and sound structure, treatment goes inside them. Usually the cheapest and fastest route.

Failing plants

Diagnosis first. Often the answer is aeration, sludge age and alkalinity rather than a new plant, and we will say so.

Industrial and specialist

Food processing, leachate, laundry, dialysis and heavy-metal streams, where the parameters are not domestic.

We both design and build, which creates a conflict of interest we would rather name than hide: the company recommending the system is the company selling it. Our answer is to show the options side by side with the real differences, and let you choose — including the option that is cheaper for you and worse for us.

Where we work

Head office on M.L. Quezon National Highway, Cordova, 6017 Cebu, with a Metro Manila office in Quezon City, and projects nationwide. Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Our Cebu projects are listed city by city here, and the wider portfolio is here.

If you have a failing plant or a building that needs one, send the details and we will tell you what we see — including when the honest answer is that you do not need us. Book a free 15-minute consultation.
